Guardians of Ga'Hoole by Kathryn Lasky - Book one - The Capture

Soren begins to tell the Legend of Ga'hoole to his little friend Gylfie while trying to avoid the moon blinking as they are captive in St.Aggie's. Inspired by the legend the two manage to learn to fly, escape and make new friends.
There are many ways to read this book, many themes are on the plate, friendship, freedom, hope, belief and the never ending war between good and evil. Coming along it happens to learn a big deal about owls. Quite a lot for a little children's book.

Soren inizia a narrare la leggenda di Ga'Hoole alla sua piccola amica Gylfie per evitare l'abbaglio della luna durante la prigionia a St.Aggie. Ispirati da questa leggenda i due non solo imparano a volare, ma riescono anche a scappare e fare nuovi amici.
Ci sono molti modi di leggere questo libro, molti i temi presenti: amicizia, liberta' speranza, fede e l'eterno conflitto tra il bene e il male. Strada facendo puo' anche succedere di imparare molte cose sul mondo dei gufi. Molto, per un piccolo libro per ragazzi.
